La Maison du BS was born from a simple intention: to create rest-time products that bring together comfort, beauty, and a genuine understanding of materials.
We draw inspiration from the French art of living — a philosophy that values simplicity, refinement, and the quiet moments of everyday life — and blend it with the meticulous care and sensitivity of Eastern craftsmanship. Together, they shape a resting experience that is calm, beautiful, and grounded in real, everyday life.
A More Thoughtful Way to Rest
Many of the products around us today are made from synthetic materials, plastics, or petroleum-based components. These materials have valuable properties and play an important role across modern manufacturing.
But for the things that stay closest to our skin, closest to our breath, and with us for hours every day, we believe there is still room to ask: how can nature be the starting point for something better?
That's why La Maison du BS is dedicated to researching and selecting natural materials — and materials of natural origin — such as natural rubber, cotton, plant-based fibers, and botanical extracts. We don't start by asking, "How can we make this as natural as possible?" We start by asking, "How can nature be used to its fullest potential?"

Many natural materials need to be extracted, purified, conditioned, or stabilized in order to hold their properties, perform effectively, remain safe, and suit everyday use.
So what matters to us isn't a percentage of "naturalness" — it's choosing the right material for the right purpose, processing it only as much as necessary, and striking a balance between nature, performance, comfort, and longevity.
